尊敬的Jamie Prenkert教授，尊敬的胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)，各位老師、各位校友，

在此，我代表學(xué)院歡迎各位新老朋友，向本次大會(huì)的召開表示祝賀！

各位校友畢業(yè)于不同院系，從事不同職業(yè)，今天走到一起，是因?yàn)榇蠹叶际侵写笕?，都是嶺南人，因?yàn)榇蠹叶加兄y以忘懷的嶺南情誼。CHEMBA校友會(huì)是個(gè)有凝聚力、有溫度的校友會(huì)，感謝歷屆理事會(huì)為校友會(huì)的建設(shè)打下的基礎(chǔ)，特別是我來到學(xué)院接觸到胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)，感謝以胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)為代表的歷任會(huì)長(zhǎng)、理事長(zhǎng)為建設(shè)校友會(huì)發(fā)展做出的貢獻(xiàn)。

在此，我代表學(xué)院特別要感謝胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)，“用心、用力、用情”，這六個(gè)字很好地總結(jié)了胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)在擔(dān)任會(huì)長(zhǎng)期間對(duì)學(xué)院以及校友工作的貢獻(xiàn)。我記得胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)之前說過的一句話，“校友力量是推動(dòng)學(xué)院高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的重要支撐?！睙o論是校友會(huì)年會(huì)、校友會(huì)座談會(huì)，亦或是學(xué)院董事會(huì)、會(huì)長(zhǎng)論壇都能見到胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)的身影。任職期間，胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)在嶺南學(xué)院和卡爾森管理學(xué)院的聯(lián)絡(luò)上起到了正向積極的作用；疫情期間，胡勇學(xué)長(zhǎng)帶領(lǐng)校友們?yōu)閷W(xué)院購(gòu)置捐贈(zèng)防疫物資、關(guān)心關(guān)懷校友等等工作，令人感動(dòng)。他對(duì)學(xué)院發(fā)展和CHEMBA校友會(huì)工作的高度重視和關(guān)心以及他對(duì)學(xué)院發(fā)展的建言獻(xiàn)策、帶領(lǐng)CHEMBA校友會(huì)工作更上一層樓的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力和凝聚力令人欽佩！校友會(huì)不同于其他各種組織，校友會(huì)的特殊性在于，它是連接學(xué)院與校友的紐帶，是凝聚校友的同心圓。做好校友會(huì)的工作，更要靠理事會(huì)成員們的凝心聚力，做到“心往一處想、勁往一處使、擰成一股繩、下好一盤棋”。期待新一屆校友會(huì)理事會(huì)在新任會(huì)長(zhǎng)的帶領(lǐng)下，開拓創(chuàng)新、再立新功，繼續(xù)把校友會(huì)和校友工作做好。

近年來，學(xué)院在人才培養(yǎng)、科學(xué)研究以及人才引進(jìn)等方面取得了較大成績(jī)。比如我們目前已派出16位20級(jí)、21級(jí)拔尖班學(xué)生正在歐洲（挪威經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院/哥本哈根商學(xué)院）進(jìn)行為期半年的交流學(xué)習(xí)；我們開始招收全國(guó)首批2024年非全日制數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)碩士；我們剛剛獲批成立廣東省哲學(xué)社會(huì)科學(xué)重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室“中山大學(xué)粵港澳大灣區(qū)數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)與數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)室”；我們成功引進(jìn)師資超過10人，更成功引進(jìn)1位高層次人才以及1位諾獎(jiǎng)獲得者……未來，學(xué)院將繼續(xù)深化施行人才戰(zhàn)略、特色戰(zhàn)略和國(guó)際化戰(zhàn)略，更好地立足當(dāng)下，不忘初心，砥礪前行。

學(xué)院的發(fā)展建設(shè)不僅是全院師生的努力，更與廣大校友的支持密不可分。校友走多遠(yuǎn)，校友影響就有多遠(yuǎn)，校友發(fā)展有多好，學(xué)院發(fā)展就有多好。CHEMBA項(xiàng)目的校友都是國(guó)際性的高層次經(jīng)濟(jì)管理人才，希望大家為學(xué)院發(fā)展多提出寶貴的意見和建議，希望大家繼續(xù)一如既往的關(guān)心支持宣傳學(xué)院！

最后，預(yù)祝本屆大會(huì)取得圓滿成功！祝各位蓬勃發(fā)展，身體健康、萬事勝意！謝謝大家！

Dear Professor Jamie Prenkert, Esteemed Hu Yong, Faculties and fellow alumni

On behalf of the college, I extend a warm welcome to all the new and old friends gathered here today, and offer my congratulations on the convening of this conference! As alumni, we come from different faculties and pursue diverse professions. However, today we come together because we are all part of Sun Yat-sen University, and we share the cherished Lingnan spirit that remains deeply ingrained in our hearts. The CHEMBA Alumni Association is a cohesive and warm community, and we are grateful for the foundation laid by the previous boards of directors. In particular, I would like to express my gratitude to Hu Yong, whom I had the privilege of working with since joining the college. I appreciate the contributions made by the past presidents and directors, represented by Senior Hu Yong, to the development of the alumni association.

On this occasion, on behalf of the college, I would like to express special gratitude to Senior Hu Yong. The words "Dedication, Effort, and Passion" perfectly summarize Senior Hu Yong's contributions to the college and alumni work during his tenure as president. I remember a quote from Hu Yong, "The power of alumni is an important pillar for promoting the high-quality development of the college." Whether it was the alumni annual meeting, alumni symposium, college board of directors, or president's forum, Hu Yong was always present and actively involved. During his term, Hu Yong played a positive and proactive role in fostering connections between Lingnan College and the Carlson School of Management. During the pandemic, Hu Yong led the alumni in procuring and donating epidemic prevention supplies to the college, showing care and support for fellow alumni. His high regard and concern for the development of the college and the CHEMBA Alumni Association, as well as his valuable suggestions for the college's growth, and his leadership and cohesion in taking the CHEMBA Alumni Association to new heights, are truly admirable. Alumni Association is different from other organizations. Its uniqueness lies in being a bridge between the college and the alumni, forming a cohesive circle that brings alumni together. To carry out the work of the alumni association effectively, it relies on the concerted efforts of the board members. We should strive to align our thoughts, coordinate our efforts, pull together as a team, and strategize effectively. We look forward to the new board of directors, under the leadership of the new president, exploring new innovations and achieving further success in the alumni association and alumni work.

In recent years, the college has made significant achievements in talent cultivation, scientific research, and talent recruitment. For example, we have sent 16 outstanding students from the 20th and 21st cohorts to study abroad in Europe (Norwegian School of Economics/Copenhagen Business School) for a six-month exchange program. We have started recruiting the first batch of part-time students for the 2024 Digital Economy Master's program. We have just been approved to establish the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Philosophy and Social Sciences, the "Sun Yat-sen University Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Digital Economy and Data Science Laboratory." We have successfully recruited more than 10 faculty members, including one high-level talent and one Nobel laureate...In the future, the college will continue to deepen the implementation of talent, distinctive, and internationalization strategies, grounding ourselves in the present, staying true to our original aspirations, and forging ahead.

The development and construction of the college are not only the efforts of the faculty and students but also inseparable from the support of the alumni. The farther the alumni go, the greater their influence. The better the development of the alumni, the better the development of the college. The alumni of the CHEMBA program are international high-level economic and management talents. I hope everyone can provide valuable opinions and suggestions for the development of the college, and I hope you will continue to care, support, and promote the college as always!
